The Lake Eustis One Design Sailing Club conducts 86 One Design Club Races per season. Here is another great day of our club’s One Design Fleets racing on Lake  Eustis. On April 15, 07 the participating One Design Fleets were: Flying Scots, Wayfarers, Lasers and MC Scows. We had great sailing weather, the temperatures were in the low eighties with winds between 12 and 15 m/p/h: could not be any better! The boats were flying! The Junior Sailors in the Opti Fleet were sailing on a course closer to the shore. If you are new to Lake Eustis and like what you see: Check us out: Stop by and visit! But be prepared: You might like what you see and stay! In that case, you are very welcome: just download the membership application form, mail it in, chose your one design fleet and race with us.  With lots of thanks to our extraordinary PRO’s Dave and Joan Williams assisted by Bob Armes and our great team of safety boat skippers: John Schneider and Sam Montondo.

Junior Sailors: Make sure to sail in the 4th  Annual Florida Inland Championship Regatta and Clinic for Opties, Lasers and Club 420’s.

SAIL IN THE 40TH ANNUAL GEORGE WASHINGTON BIRTHDAY REGATTA ON FEBRUARY 20-21, 2010, on beautiful Lake Eustis. THE FOLLOWING ONE DESIGN CLASSES ARE EXPECTED: FLYING SCOT (Florida Points Regatta!), C SCOW, Melges 17, WAYFARER, LASER FULL , LASER RADIAL, Laser 4.7, CLUB 420, All OPTIMIST FLEETS, CATEMARAN CLASSES AS: A CATS, HOBIE 16 AND NACRA 20 AND PORTSMOUTH FLEETS. The 38th Annual MC Scow Midwinter Championship Regatta will be sailed on March 18-20, 2010. The Zenda U Clinic for MC Scows will be conducted on March 16 and 17, 2010.
